The iPhone 17e Completes the Missing Features

Ana sayfa / News

Apple launched the iPhone 16e in February as its most affordable new device. However, this low price tag came with several compromises, such as the lack of MagSafe support. While the iPhone 16e had wireless charging capabilities, the absence of a magnetic charging port meant users had to settle for an Android-style experience.

If Apple’s decision to omit this feature surprised you, there’s good news for the next model. According to recent reports, the iPhone 17e, expected to be introduced in early 2026, will bring MagSafe support.

The iPhone 17e will stand out not only in charging capabilities but also in connectivity technology:

Second-Generation Modem: The iPhone 17e is reported to feature Apple’s second-generation C1X cellular modem, first seen in the iPhone Air model in September (the iPhone 16e used the older C1 modem). Processor: The device is expected to be powered by the powerful A19 chip, also found in other members of the iPhone 17 series.

Significant updates are also on the horizon for the “budget-friendly” model in terms of design and photography:

Apple’s return to a core ecosystem feature like MagSafe in its “economical” model could make the device a much more attractive option for budget-conscious users.
